        Door Latches, Operator Handles and Unit Interlocks

Unit Interlocks

NOTE: 

Do not attempt to install or remove a unit while the unit main switch 

is in the ON/

I

 position.

A unit interlock is provided with each plug-in unit. Unit interlocks help 
prevent units from being removed from or inserted into a column while the 
operator handle is in the ON/

I

 position.

Units can also be locked out with a padlock preventing installation of the unit 
into a column. This lockout feature of the unit interlock can be used with the 
operator handle in the ON/

I

 or OFF/O position.
