Replacing the Backlight Tubes

Carefully pull the flat panel display away from the chassis and
disconnect the following connectors from the flat panel display:

•

 

LED connector from the LED board

•

 

Power cable attached to the backlight power supply

Note:

This illustration shows the 10.4 in. version.  The backlight
power supply board on the 12.1 in. version is mounted on a
separate detachable bracket, and not on the back of the
display.

The backlight assembly contains two backlight tubes, which must be
replaced.

To replace the backlight tubes (10.4 in version):

1.

 

Disconnect the backlight tube connectors from the backlight power
supply.

2.

 

Press on the retention clip in the direction indicated by the arrow to
release the backlight tube.
