Press the PWR button to turn the source unit on and off.
This switch has operating priority over all other switches.

“WAKE-UP” Feature

Pressing any button except for the DSPL and EJECT
buttons will also turn the source unit on. (Tape must be
inserted for CASSETTE button to “Wake-up.”)

Display

The display will turn on whenever ignition voltage is
applied, without regard to the radio power switch. If
the ignition power is on, and radio is off, only the clock
will be displayed.

Considerations

Removing the faceplate will turn the unit off.
