Operation

The backlight illumination is turned on by applying
+12 volts to the Dimmer input (orange wire) at the rear
of the source unit.

Dimmer Program

1. Press and hold the DSPL button for two seconds.
2. Press the DIM (PRESET 5) button to adjust the

intensity from 0 (off) to 4 (max).

Considerations

Once 4 is reached, the intensity setting will start over
at 0.

Initial Power Up Defaults

On initial power-up, the backlight Dim Level will
default to 4 (max.).

Change Color

1. Press and hold the ILLUM (LOUD) button for two

seconds to toggle between Green and Amber back-
light color.

2. Press and hold the ILLUM (LOUD) button again for

two seconds to change to the previous color.

Initial Power-Up Defaults

On initial power-up, the display and buttons will be
backlit Green.
