Operation

The External Audio Input is a 2-channel input that
allows the source unit to play an additional audio
source (VCR, video game, etc.)

External Audio Select

1. Press the SEL (select) button to switch to EX AU-

DIO.

2. Press the SEL button a second time to revert back

to Cassette/Tuner mode.

1. Chassis ground the Green/White wire (use relay or

switch) to select EX AUDIO Mode.

2. Disconnect the wire from chassis ground to revert

back to Cassette/Tuner mode.

Display

The display will indicate “EX AUDIO” for five seconds
then switch to its default (External Audio or Clock).

Considerations

The SEL (select) button has priority control over the
Green/White trigger wire.

NOTE: Since the External Audio Input and CD Changer
share the same 13-pin DIN, the source unit can only
support one device at a time.
