Planetary Gearbox and Drive
Hub Removal
1. Remove the drum from the planer
chassis. ( see page 16 )
2. Remove (4) deadshaft nuts from the
left side of the drum and remove the
deadshaft weldment.
3. Remove (8) planetary stud nuts from
the right side of the drum.
4. Remove Planetary assembly from left
side of drum.
5. Reverse steps for reassembly.
COMPONANTS ARE EXTREMEMLY
HEAVY AND CAN CAUSE SERIOUS
INJURY OR DEATH IF PROPER LIFT-
ING TECHNIQUES ARE NOT USED.
