7.7 Connecting the controllers/hand switches
You can connect the following external controllers to the electric cylinder:
•
RK
transformer control (Electric cylinder with electric connector "a")
•
RK
Multi
Control
mono (Electric cylinder with electric connector "a")
•
RK
Multi
Control
duo (Electric cylinder with electric connector "c")
•
RK
Multi
Control
quadro (Electric cylinder with electric connector "c")
The electric cylinder is connected to the external control. The control is not located in the electric
cylinder, but in an external control.
7.8 Operating the external controller
Either an
RK
transformer control,
RK
Multi
Control
mono, or a
RK
Multi
Control
duo/quadro
control can be connected to the electric cylinder. The hand switch is not connected to the electric
cylinder; it is connected to the control.
Please refer to the respective assembly instructions for the
RK
transformer control,
RK
Multi
Control
mono or
RK
Multi
Control
duo/quadro for information on how to operate the
control and the hand switch.
7.9 Commissioning the cylinder with internal control

.
•
Insert the plug on the end of the power supply cable
into a mains socket.
•
Test the functionality of the electric cylinder's
upward and downward movement by carefully
pressing the corresponding button on the hand
switch.
•
Note when raising and lowering the electric cylinder
that this operates the limit switches and, at the same
time, switches the lifting movement off in the top
and bottom end positions.
Use only the controllers listed in this operating instruction.
Otherwise, the electric cylinder or controls may be damaged.
