10.1 Server Settings
Typical Settings
•
Server name
– The name of the server that will be displayed in the public
server list.
•
Password
- Password for server access (limits access to the server).
•
Server Description
- Description of the server.
•
Max Clients
– The maximum number of allowed clients. We recommend
setting this number based on the power of the equipment running the
server and the quality of the internet connection the server has.
•
Max Allowed Client Ping
- Maximum permissible delay connection to the
client (in milliseconds).
•
Ban Time
– The time that a banned player is barred from re-joining the server.
•
Accessible from Internet
- Allows clients to connect via the Internet. If
this option is not checked then your server will be visible only to clients
in your local area network (LAN).
•
Global Statistics
- Set permission for sending statistics of the results of
players on the server to the Master Server for inclusion on the ROF
Leaderboards.
Spectator Mode Available - Sets the permission for the spectators. This
setting also allows for the use of external cameras.
•
Kill Notification
- Allows system messages in the chat about the actions
of players such as who killed who.
•
Return Friendly Fire
- A punishment for shooting at and hitting friendly
aircraft or equipment. The guilty pilot will receive the damage in return.
This is to prevent unwanted and purposeful same team killings.

Finish Flight Only Landed
- Prohibits the completion of flight, if the plane
has not landed.
•
Locked Load outs
- Prohibits changing weapons options of the aircraft.
Default weapons are set by the server administrator.
•
Lock Skins
- Prohibits the use of custom skins by clients. Only default
skins will be available.
Team Death Match (TDM) Settings
•
Rounds per Mission
- Number of rounds in the mission.
•
Points per Round
- Number of points that must be scored for a team to
win the round.
