Quick start setup
The pager has many features that you can customize to suit your
specific needs. Once you have followed the other steps to get
started with your pager, you should customize how you’d like the
pager to notify you of new messages and set any of the other pager
options. See page 105 for details on all of these options.
Note
You can manually set the date and time on the pager.
However, if you have installed and configured the RIM
Inter@ctive
Pager 850
Desktop Software and have
synchronized with your pager, the date and time will be set
automatically. See the RIM

You can also set the Auto On/Off feature to configure when
you want the pager to turn on and off automatically.
