Setting and Adjustment

MiniFlex 600: Benchtop X-ray Diffractometer

Optics alignment (D/teX Ultra)

This section describes how to perform the alignment of D/teX Ultra after the
optics alignment of SC is completed. If the D/teX Ultra is removed from the
system and re-installed, perform the alignment again.

D/teX Ultra is an optional

component.

Remove the SC and install the D/teX Ultra.

For how to install the D/teX Ultra, see “

Installing the D/teX Ultra

(Optional).

End the system by following the instructions of "Shutting down the

system". (see “

Shutting Down the System

”)

Then, remove the radiation enclosure.

Remove the SC cable from the SC, and then remove the SC by the

whole SC stage.

③

Loosen the fixing screws of the receiving slit box, and slide the

receiving slit box to the sample side. Then, tighten the fixing screws.

④

Replace the SC with D/teX Ultra.

⑤

Bundle the SC cable and wind it behind the D/teX Ultra to avoid

interfering with the goniometer arm.

⑥

Loosen the fixing screws of receiving slit box, and slide the receiving

slit box to the D/teX Ultra side. Then, tighten the fixing screws.
