Description of the appliance
BAG
3
is a water separator which can be used in conjunction with
any boiler; it is able to separate the water in the heat generator
circuit from the rest of the heating system by dividing it into two
(
BAG
3
MIX CLIMA
) or three zones (
BAG
3
2 MIX CLIMA
) which are at
different temperatures. It includes a mixing bottle, an electronic
board, two/three circulation units and one/two 3-way mixing
valves which control the water temperature in the low temper-
ature zones.
It can be housed inside a box (accessory) which can be built into
the wall or it can be wall-mounted.
BAG
3
is able to manage the delivery temperatures of the individ-
ual zones separately ; connection of an external sensor (acces-
sory) means the
BAG
3
is able to manage the zones with climate
control function calculating the appropriate set-point for each
zone. Its use is indispensable if the system is divided into a high
temperature zone (radiators) and one / two low temperature ar-
eas (radiant panels / fanconvectors) whose
fl
ow rate of water is
greater than that delivered by the circulation unit of the boiler.
The request for heat from the individual zones is via Family Re-
mote Control - REC 08 remote controls (hereafter REC), ambient
thermostats (TA) or chrono-thermostats (CT) .
