WARNING:

Always remove battery pack from the tool when
you are assembling parts, making adjustments,
cleaning, or when not in use. Removing battery
pack will prevent accidental starting that could
cause serious personal injury.

marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do
so could result in objects being thrown into your
eyes and other possible serious injuries.

APPLICATIONS
You may use this tool for the purposes listed below:
Driving staples into wood
Using the included accessory, driving staples to secure
fencing wire and wire screen
WARNING:
Do not use this tool for fastening electrical cables
or wire. It is not designed for electrical cable instal-
lation and may damage the insulation of electric
cables, causing electric shock or a fire hazard.
INSTALLING BELT HOOK
See Figure 1, page 8.
Align hole in belt hook with hole in tool’s base.
Install screw to secure belt hook in place.
To uninstall, remove screw and then belt hook.
OPERATION
INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK
See Figure 2, page 8.
NOTE:
Use of a 3Ah or higher battery is recommended for
the best performance.
To install
, place the battery pack in the tool. Align raised
rib on battery pack with the groove inside the tool.
Make sure the latches on both sides of the battery pack
snap into place and the battery pack is secured in the
tool before beginning operation.
To remove
, locate latches on both sides of the battery
pack and depress to release the battery pack from the
tool.

LOADING STAPLES
See Figure 3, page 8.
Remove the battery pack.
Hold the tool upside down. Squeeze the magazine latch
and slide the magazine open.
Insert the staples into the channel with the crown side
down and the legs facing upward.
To close the magazine, push it into the tool until it clicks.
An indicator window on the side of the tool lets the
operator know when the tool is running low on staples.
SETTING THE DRIVE FORCE
See Figure 4, page 8.
The depth adjustment knob increases or decreases the force
with which a staple is driven into the workpiece.
Harder materials will require greater drive force.
Remove the battery pack.
Rotate the depth adjustment knob clockwise to increase
the drive force and counterclockwise to decrease the
drive force.
To test for desired depth, use a scrap piece of the same
material you will be using for your project.
WARNING:
Always keep your fingers away from the discharge
area of the tool when driving a staple and when
using the accessory to install screen or wire. Failure
to keep fingers out of the way can result in serious
personal injury.
