Important
❐
Once the protective cover is re-
moved, toner can spill from the
cartridge easily. Take care to
avoid subjecting the toner car-
tridge to vibration and impact
after removing the protective
cover.
E
Slowly and carefully slide the new
toner cartridge into the printer.

At this time, the “Add Toner” mes-
sage clears from the panel display
and the printer starts warming up.
Replacing the Photoconductor
Unit
The message shown below indicates
that the photoconductor unit is ap-
proaching the end of its life.
You can still continue using the cur-
rent photoconductor unit if you are
satisfied with the quality of the out-
put being produced by the printer.
When the printed image starts look-
ing soiled (horizontal lines along the
edges of the page, for example), re-
place the photoconductor unit as soon
as possible.
R
WARNING
•
Do not incinerate the photo-
conductor unit. Toner dust
might ignite when exposed to
an open flame.
•
Disposal can take place at our
authorized dealer or at appro-
priate collection sites.
•
If you dispose of the used
photoconductor unit yourself,
dispose of it according to lo-
cal regulations.
R
CAUTION
•

the machine, do not touch any
sections other than those speci-
fied in this manual. If you do, it
might result in receiving a burn
or an injury.
