Appearance of the flame
z
The burner flame should appear blue and stable as shown pictures. There should be no yellow
sparks, loud noise nor should it be raised up from the nozzle.
z
A yellow flame mans that there is not enough oxygen supply. Loud noises and a flame raised up
from the nozzle means that there is too much oxygen.
z
Check the appearance of the burner flame prior to each use. Should deviations be present,
contact a gas specialist to reset the grill.
Turning off the gas grill
z
After each use, turn the temperature knobs to OFF position and let the gas grill cool down on this
position for about 5 minutes. Make sure that the cover is open at this time.
z
Close the valve on the gas cylinder. Wait until the gas has completely cooled off before closing the
cover.
z
If you do not use the grill for a longer period of time, disconnect the gas cylinder from the grill and
store it in a safe location.
z
Cover up your gas grill with a commercially available cover if your do not plan to use it for a longer
period of time.
