A. Passwords and Menu Navigation
The availability of the Uni-7 menus is based on the password entered. The service password
495344, PLU provides access to all menus. Refer to the next section "Menu Structure" for a
list of all menu steps.
Service Access Password
1. Press the
MODE
key to enter the Main menu.
2. Enter
495344
and press the
PLU
key to access hidden menu steps.
3. All
SETUP
(six pages) and
ADJUST
(three pages) menus are available.
General Access Password
1. Press the
MODE
key to enter the Main menu.
2. Some
SETUP
(two pages) and
ADJUST
(one page) menu steps are available.
Passwords
1. From the Operation screen, press the
MODE
key to enter the Main menu.
2. Enter the password followed by the
PLU
key.

Service password
495344
provides full access. This password cannot be changed.
•
Manager's password allows access to any menu steps that are set for password
protection. This includes access to all items in the Program menu and several items in
the Setup and Adjust menus.

Notes
: a. The Manager's password is disabled by default.
b. Passwords may be entered at any time from the Main menu.
3. The Manager's password is set in Setup menu, Password.

Password Setup
Some "open" menu steps are accessible without passwords. It is strongly
recommended that secondary passwords be placed on the "open" items
in the Setup menu to prevent unauthorized access by store personnel.
