Installation

The unit should be placed in a location that will not affect the accuracy. 

• Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not place in direct sunlight or near air conditioning vents.

• Do not place near vibrating machinery.

• Do not use near large power equipment or large motors.

• Avoid high humidity, direct contact with water and do not spray or immerse in water.

• Avoid air movement such as fans or opening doors. Do not place near open windows.

• Keep the unit clean. 

• Do not stack material on the unit when not in use.

Installation of INT700 series

1. Attach the pillar bracket to the base frame.

2. Attach the pillar to the bracket using two sets of screws to secure it.

3. Run the cable from the base to the indicator module through the pillar and out the plastic support at the top.

  Excess cable can be left in the pillar.

4. Place the platform on the base.

5. Level the scale by adjusting the four feet. The scale should be adjusted such that the bubble in the spirit

level is in the center of the level and the scale is supported by all four feet. 

6. If the scale rocks, readjust the feet.

7. Attach the indicator module to the pillar by sliding it over the bracket with the flanges engaged in the

groves on the base.   

8. Attach the cable from the base to the connector on the rear of the indicator.

9. Attach the AC power adapter to the connector on the back of the indicator.
