Zero the Display
Press
to zero the scale. Weight must be within 4% of initial zero. Zero will display.
The scale has an automatic re-zeroing function to account for minor drifting or accumulation of material on the
platform.

4.2
Tare the Scale
1. Zero the scale by pressing
. Zero will display.
2. Place a container on the platform. Its weight will display.
3. Press
to tare the scale. The displayed weight is stored as the tare value and zero will display. The
NET
annunciator will be on.
4. Add product to the container. The weight of the product only will display.
5. If another type of product is to be added to the first one, press
to tare the weight of the first
product. The weight of the second product will display.
6. When all product is added, remove the container. A negative value will display showing the weight of the
container plus all product that was tared.
The zero annunciator will display since the platform is back to the same condition it was when
was
last pressed.
4.3
Weighing a sample
To determine the weight of a sample:
1. Place a container on the scale.
2. Press
to tare the weight of the container.
3. Place the sample in the container. The weight and units of the sample will display.
4.4
Checkweighing
Checkweighing causes an alarm to sound when the weight on the scale meets or exceeds the high or low values
programmed in memory.
Check mode OK:
The display will show
OK
and the beeper will sound when the weight is between the limits.
Check mode NG:
The display will show
OK
and the beeper will sound when the weight is out of the limits.
