INSTALLATION
Figure 1 shows the installation of a typical system using Crescendo-series RFI-150 radios. In this system
PC and PLC are each connected to their own radio.

Mounting
Each mechanical enclosure has several mounting options. The mounting may be tailored to the
application with:
Panel Mounting;
The radio is directly connected to the mounting bracket.
Vibration Resistant Mounting.
Shock absorbers separate the radio and mounting bracket, reducing the impact of vibration on the radio.
In each scenario, there is the option of:
Standard Mounting;
Requiring M6 or ¼ inch screws.
Quick Release.
Requiring M5 or

inch screws.
Refer to Figure 3 below for mounting dimensions.
As the Crescendo-series RFI-150 has been designed to operate with no forced cooling, it should be
placed in a well-ventilated location. Refer to specifications on environmental conditions.
