Battery disposal:
Batteries and accumulators are not to be disposed of in the normal
house waste bin. Every user is legally obliged, to hand over all
batteries and accumulators, irrespective of whether or not they
contain harmful substances to a communal collection point in the
local town area or to a trade dealer so that they can be disposed
of in an orderly environmentally friendly manner. Batteries and accumulators
should only be handed over when they are completely discharged!
Troubleshooting:
Control-LED for transmit-
ter #6 doesn‘t light.
- Is the battery inserted right?
- Is the battery in the push-button ok?
The sending control-LED
#6 lights, but there‘s no
chime-signal.
- Is the On/Off-button on the chime in the mode „ON”?
- Are the batteries inside the chime ok?
- Are the batteries inserted in the right direction?
- Is the range of the radio-signal sufficient?
Approach the devices and check the function again.
The chime doesn‘t work
reliable, although the
function was acceptable
before.
- Are the batteries of the push-button and the chime still
ok? (If necessary, replace them by new ones)
- Are there other radio devices in use? (If neccessary,
change channel settings on the chime and the
push-button: see „Change of code in the case of
interferences”).
Chime signal is activated
undesirably.
- Choose position of assembly, so that the distance
between push-button and chime is as low as possible.
- Change position of assembly a little (+/- 15 cm) and
check again.
Range too low.
- If it is possible, don‘t place the chime in corners (distance
of every edge at least 1m).
- Choose position of assembly, so that there are as few
walls as possible between the push-button and the
chime unit.
