Contact your home care provider for additional information on the accessories available for your

REMstar Pro M Series system. When using optional accessories, always follow the instructions

enclosed with the accessories.

6.1 A

DDING

UMIDIFIER

You can use the M Series Heated humidiﬁer or the M Series Pass-over humidiﬁer with your

device. They are available from your home care provider. A humidiﬁer may reduce nasal dryness

and irritation by adding moisture (and heat, if applicable) to the airﬂow. Figure 6–1 shows the

humidiﬁer by itself and attached to the REMstar Pro M Series device.

Caution:

For safe operation, the humidiﬁer must always be positioned below the

breathing circuit connection at the mask and the air outlet on the device.
The humidiﬁer must be level for proper operation.
