7.3 Relay contact (N.O.)
The connection terminals 6 (+) and 7 (-) are a relay contact (N.O. – normally
open). The relay contact can be set for timing mode or latch mode.
This can be determined by jumper C
(s. chapter 9: Jumper function)
Timing Mode:
The relay contact is reset 3 minutes after an alarm was triggered.
Latch mode:
The relay contact remains activated after an alarm was triggered,
until the system is reset.
Optical or acoustic signalling devices can be connected.
The contact resilience of the relays is max. 12 V/DC, 5 A.
Observe the applicable statutory and community provisions! In Ger-
many, an alarm must not exceed 3 minutes (= 180 seconds). However,
this time may differ in certain communities and locations (e.g. in spa
towns).
