Renishaw encoder systems have been designed to the relevant EMC standards,  
but must be correctly integrated to achieve EMC compliance. In particular,  
attention to shielding arrangements is essential.

RGSZ20-S: High stability steel tape, gold plated with polymer 
protection and self-adhesive backing tape.

RGSZ20-T: High stability steel tape, gold plated with polymer 
protection. No backing tape.

RGSZ20-P: High stability steel tape, gold plated with tough 
polyester coating for use in applications requiring immunity  
against harsh solvents.  
Fitted with a self-adhesive backing.

NOTE: RGSN variants of above scales are manufactured 
without reference marks.
