Laser safety

In accordance with BS EN 60825-1: 2007 and
US standards 21CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11,
except for deviations pursuant to Laser Notice
no. 50, dated June 24, 2007, the SLM 250 is
classified as a Class 1 invisible laser product.
Safety eyewear is not required for the SLM 250.
Do not stare into the beam or shine it into
the eyes of others. It is safe to view a diffuse-
reflected beam. Do not dismantle the unit in any
way; doing so may expose laser radiation in
excess of Class 1 limits.
