Specify the build dimensions (Figure 7):
•
Layer spacing – this is set to 0.03 mm (30 µm) (0.001 in) by default, and must be set to the
build layer thickness.
•
X and Y start and end positions – by default these are set to cover the entire build plate, and
will often not need to be changed. However, if the build is only going to be taking up a small
portion of the build area, then it is worth adjusting these to match the build area, as the smaller
the build area the smaller the resulting volumes.
•
Z start and end positions – the 'Z start' position will normally be 0. The 'Z end' position must be
less than or equal to the build height. If you want to process the whole build, then it needs to be
equal to the build height. If you want to process a portion, then it can be any value up to the build
height.

When the stage is complete, select 'Next'.
