Manual operation 

The unit can be manually operated, if, for example, the 
infrared remote control is not functioning properly or 
has been lost.  

Open the air intake grille of the indoor unit and press 
the button on the right side.  
The following operating modes are then activated: 

MODUS =  Automatic  
TEMP. = 24 

°C,  FAN  = Automatic, 

SWING =  On, 

 

TIMER =  Off. 

Shutting Down the Unit 

 

Temporary shutdown 

1.  Let the unit run in cooling mode for half an hour. 
2.  Switch the indoor unit off using the remote control. 
3.  Disconnect the system with the main switch or fuse 

protection from the power supply. 

4.  Check the indoor unit for visible damage. 
5. Clean the indoor unit as described in the 

“Maintenance and Service” section. 

By pressing the lower RESET button, the remote control can be reset. Afterwards, the 
time must be programmed (see “CLOCK button“).

Malfunctions are shown as a code on the display of the 
indoor unit. After the malfunction has been fixed, the con-
trol mechanism operates with the previously set parame-
ters.

There are individually adjustable air directing plate fins 
on the air outlet side for horizontally distributing the air.

Never adjust the fins when the unit is in automatic 
swing mode! Do not reach into the unit! 

There is a risk of injuring your hand on the fan 
motor.

 

Display on the indoor unit 

The display is lit up depending on the current settings. 
During operation, the on / off display and the selected 
mode and the target temperature are displayed.
