5.3.4.1.1 Set passw ord
"Set password" activates device safety and protects the print data from misuse.
To
activate
device safety, select the "Extras"tab in the menu bar
and click "Device safety
Set password" or click the button

Enter a password.
Repeat the password.
The password may contain a maximum of 4 characters.
The following characters can be used: 0-9.
To activate the device safety, click on the "Set password" button.

5.3.4.1.2 Disable passw ord protection
"Deactivate password protection" deactivates device safety.
To ensure the safety of the device
deactivate
