- Ear and eye hazards!
- When the central vacuum unit is running, never
bring nozzles or pipes near your head.
- Never attempt to vacuum clothing or pet fur.
- Never allow children to play with the suction
sockets.
- Never allow children to operate the vacuum system.
- Electrical shock hazard!
- Never operate the VACUCLEAN on damp sur-
faces.
- Never come into contact with the mains power
plug, the mains power cable or the central vacu-
um unit with wet hands or wet cleaning towels.
- Never attempt to vacuum copy machine or
printer toner or soot. Both toner and soot may be
electrically conductive.
- Explosion and fire hazard!
- Under no circumstances may glowing cigarettes,
hot ashes, burning matches or similar materials
be vacuumed.
- Never attempt to vacuum flammable or com-
bustible materials such as gasoline, solvents
or heating oil. These materials may become
explosive when mixed with suction air.
- Do not operate the central vacuum unit in areas
in which flammable materials are stored or
where gases have formed.
- Never operate the system if:
- The intake is damaged, or;
- There is visible damage to the central vacuum
unit.
- Never insert any objects into the suction sockets.
- Never use blocked suction sockets.
- Keep all openings free of dust, fibers, hairs and
any objects which could result in system leaks
and impair the airflow.
- Only employ central vacuum units with OEM cart-
ridge filters.
- Check the cartridge filter‘s proper seat prior to
every use.
- Trip hazard due to long suction hose.
- Be particularly careful when cleaning stairs.
- Never pull on or allow kinks to form in the suction
hose. Take particular care around furniture edges,
doors and radiators.
- All repairs to the central vacuum unit, to its acces-
sories or to its power cord must be performed by
authorized customer service agents.
- Only employ OEM parts.
- Never subject the systems to atmospheric influ-
ences, moisture or heat sources.
- Unplug the power cord:
- In case of operational problems;
- Prior to any cleaning or maintenance work;
- During every filter replacement.
