Fig. 8 Device switch on the central vacuum unit
Inspecting the Central Vacuum Unit
1. Turn the device switch on the central vacuum unit to
its “I“ position to check whether the unit starts.
The central vacuum unit starts.
2. At the conclusion of the inspection, turn the device
switch back to its “0“ position.
Vacuuming by operation via control cable
1. Connect the telescopic tube to the suction hose CC
and to the desired accessories.
2. Insert the suction hose CC into the desired suction
socket, making sure the contact surfaces are in the
correct position (the positioning aid on the suction
hose situated between the positioning tabs on the
socket).
3. Start the vacuuming process using the switch on the
handle.
4. Remove the suction hose CC from the suction
socket.
If the unit is being operated with radio
and
cable
control, the central vacuum unit will only turn off once
all
switch contacts have been turned off.
Employing a VACUCLEAN hose extension (part no.
242373-001) deactivates the switching function on
the handle. To turn the unit on and off, the connection
piece must be inserted into or withdrawn from the
socket.
If the central vacuum unit is
not
connected at the
lowest point in the system, allow the vacuum to run
for approx. an additional 10 seconds to ensure that
vacuumed materials are not deposited in the central
vacuum unit‘s pipes. Press the OFF button at the end
of the run-out time (10 seconds).
