X = adjusting knob for rear axle (image similar)

The braking effect decreases if:

- the wheels are worn out

- there is too little air pressure (if you chose air filled

wheels)

- the wheels are wet

- the brake is not adjusted properly

The handbrake is not a service brake! Do not use it

while driving the wheel chair. Always stop the wheel

chair with the help of the grip screws which are

located on the drive wheels or with the help of the

assistant brake. Make sure that the distance between

the handbrake and the wheels is at least 3 mm. To

adjust the brake simply loosen up the fastening

screw of the brake which is located on the frame and

adjust it to the required distance.

Attention! After the adjustment of the drive wheel,

the brakes must be checked because they might

need an adjustment as well.

Attention! Worn out wheels can cause an impair-

ment of the brakes which is why the braking effect

should be checked on a regular basis.

The clamp (Anti-tilt mechanism)

The clamp can be used to tilt over the wheel chair

from behind through a second person. If the

assistant steps on the clamp the wheel chair can be

easily pushed over the curb.

Side parts and arm rests

The side parts are equipped with a plastic filling

as well as a padded arm rest. The side parts can be

removed if needed (for example to get closer to a

table). To remove the side parts simply push both

unlocking knobs at the same time and pull up the

side part. The mounting takes place in the opposite

order. Please pay attention while mounting that

the unlocking snaps in correctly. Important: Side

parts are not meant for lifting up or carrying the

wheelchair.

The foot rests

The wheel chair is equipped with footrests. These

footrests can be fold away for an easy access and exit.

The footrest can be individually adjusted to the users

needs by pulling out the pins along the steel tube,

moving the footrest into the desired position and

setting them back in place. Please note that there

must be a minimum space of 2,5 cm between the

footrests and the ground.

The foot rests can be turned to the inside and outs-

ide. Place the foot rests to the outside for insertion

then insert them and push them softly to the inside

until the locking snaps in. To remove the foot rests

just push the unlocking knob and turn the foot rests

to the outside. When mounting the foot rests always

make sure that they are snapped into place correctly.

Important: The foot rests are not meant to carry or

lift up the wheel chair with somebody sitting in it.

Wheels and wheel mounting

The light weight wheelchair REHASHOP „Bison 2

Blue“ will be delivered with antibreakdown solid
