THE SOLENOIDS
Our diffusers contain inside a couple of coils (solenoids) which are placed as follows:
As we can see on Picture A, the diffuser supplied with the MagnetoPRO 100 device is represen-
ted. On the picture B the same diffuser has been shown schematically to understand the arran-
gement of the coils contained inside.
SOFT SOLENOIDS
One spire soft solenoid is shown in figure C. The polarity is
oriented in the following way: the North corresponds to the
smooth part of the solenoid, the South to the part where
there is the loop. In order to fix the solenoid to your body
insert the supplied elastic band under the loop, then close
the band in on itself in order to keep the solenoid tight.
RIGID SOLENOIDS
One spire rigid solenoid is shown in figure E. The polarity is marked with
the letter N for North and S for South. In order to fix the solenoid to your
body insert the supplied band into the two loops, then close the band in
on itself in order to keep the solenoid tight.
The magnetotherapy can be applied with two positioning models of the solenoids:
- MODEL WITH SOLENOIDS SIDE BY SIDE
- MODEL WITH OPPOSED SOLENOIDS
The model of application with SOLENOIDS SIDE BY SIDE allows to exploit the magnetic field
generated by each solenoid. This area will affect the whole area covered by the solenoid and the
neighboring one, also expanding towards its perpendicular (and thus penetrating into the tissues).
In this way, it will be enough to place the solenoids on the treatment area, making sure to attach
the strap so that the disks contained inside are at the painful area.
Concerning a central pain on the vertebral column, for example, it is important to place the sole-
noids in the vertical direction while for a more widespread and lateralized pain it is preferable to
place the solenoids in the horizontal direction.
The proper position of the solenoids refer to the images which are at the end of this manual.
The band with the solenoids is placed using the Velcro outward. In this way it is possible to use
the black bands to fix the solenoid to the desired position.
