CITY SERIES

Extended Hearth Panel Kit Installation

2.  If the front panel hangs loosely after installation, tighten the 8 screws at 

the  back  of  the  panel  (in  locations  shown  below)  and  reinstall  onto  the 
hearth frame.

3.     Tighten two screws (in locations shown below) at one end of the panel— from 

the back of the panel—to secure the panel to the frame. Repeat to secure 
the other side of the panel.

1.   Install the front wood panel by lining up the screws on the back of the panel 

with the keyholes on the hearth framing kit, hook the panel into place.

5.   Install the side panel by lining up the screws on the back of the panel with 

the keyholes on the hearth framing kit, hook the panel into place. 

    Repeat to install opposite side panel.

4.  Identify left and right side panels.

6.  If the side panel doesn't line up with the 

front panel—follow the same procedure in 
Step 2 to align the panels.

The extended hearth panel kit is used in conjunction with the extended hearth 
framing kit. The drywall finishing trim must be removed if using the Extended 
Hearth Wood Panel Kit. There are 6 screws in front and 2 per side. Loosen 
all screws and lift the finishing trim up and out and recycle once removed. 
Retighten screws.
