Check for smooth throttle grip full opening and full closing in all steering positions. Check that
the throttle cable between the throttle grip and the carburetor is proper. If the cable is twisted or
improper, replace the cable or put it in proper position.
Free play at the tip of the throttle grip is 2 to 6mm. If necessary, unscrew the lock nut
and turn
the upper adjusting nut
. If not enough, remove the carburetor cover and adjust the adjusting nuts a
and b until it is proper.
THROTTLE INSPECTION AND ADJUSTMENT
[Throttle Cable Inspection]
Start the engine and warm it up. Operate after the engine is warmer.
Adjust the carburetor-idle to 1500
150 rpm by turning the idling bolt
. Increase by turning
clockwise and decreasing anticlockwise.
