Clean dirt traps
Caution! Observe general safety instructions (→ p. 5)!
Note:
After expiry of the set permanent deaeration period, clean the dirt traps of the pressure
reducing valves (5, 8) of the make-up and overflow lines (not part of reflex commissio-
ning!). Do not forget dirt traps (for instance ’fillset’ item F) installed by customer.
If the dirt traps are very dirty, fine setting (hydraulic balancing → p. 13) is required once
more.
The dirt traps should also be checked after the filling process or after extended opera-
tion.
– close ball valve (6), ball valve (1) of the pump line is open.
Jump to stop mode
– loosen union nuts of the valves (5, 8)
– pull out operating unit (black)
– clean dirt trap
– reinstall operating unit with dirt trap
– tighten union nut
– Open ball valve (6)
– Bleed the pump (10) by way of the bleed screw (12), the pump must not be running
– Close bleed screw (12)

Start automatic mode
After the initial start-up, permanent deaeration is activated for 24 hours in a normal case,
automatically followed by intermittent deaeration (→ p. 15). Following permanent deae-
ration, clean the dirt traps of the pressure reducing valves (5, 8).
