Attention!
During the charging procedure, place the LiPo battery on a fire-proof support or in an appropriate clay
container.
Never charge the rechargeable battery unattended.
The power adapter is to be used in dry indoor locations only. It must not get damp or wet. Never touch it
when your hands are wet or damp. There is danger of a life-threatening electric shock.
b) Checking the drive
Before starting the quadrocopter, you have to test the drive. The propellers are not driven directly, but rather through
a gear reduction. It is important to make sure that the two cogwheels fit together securely without turning slowly or
jamming.
To do this, turn the quadrocopter on its back and turn
each individual propeller carefully with your finger and
check the run-out and the ease of movement. The mo-
tor pinion (1) must fit together securely with the main
cogwheel (2).
Only the magnetic force of the motors must be signifi
-
cantly detectable.
When doing this, pay attention to the rotational directions
of the various propellers. Two propellers turn clockwise
and two turn counter-clockwise.
