f) Pitch
“Pitch” denotes the movement around the cross
axis which can be compared to the nodding of a
head. Through this, the QuadroCopter gains flight
speed forwards or backwards or decelerates.
Point (1) indicates “forwards”.
g) Roll
“Roll” denotes the movement around the centre line
which can be compared to the sideways rolling of
a ball (or the sideways crawl of a crab). In this way,
lifting the left side moves the QuadroCopter to the
right independently of its forward direction.
