g) Programme switch for "agility mode"
To programme channel 5 to activate "agility mode",
a switch at the remote control transmitter must be
operated twice (on - off). When programming chan-
nel 5, the last position of the programmed switch
means that the "agility mode" function is off in this
position.
As confirmation, the QuadroCopter’s red LED goes
off and the green LED is lit permanently. Program-
ming is completed successfully then. Disconnect
the rechargeable battery from the QuadroCopter
and activate DIP switch 4 again "OFF".
Other DIP switches already set (e.g. 1 = Sport-
Mode) can be left as they are. This is the end of
the programming process for the channels.
Important!
If you do not teach in a switching channel for "agility mode" within five seconds of teaching in the roll
function, the RC configuration is interrupted automatically. LD1 (green LED) remains lit but the "agility
mode" is not available.
If you want to teach in the function "Agility mode", you have to start the teaching process again.
The switch at the remote control transmitter must act on some receiver channel, but not on channel 1 - 4
or influence these channels through a mixer. Check the switch effectiveness in computer remote control
transmitters with a servo (e.g. connect to a receiver) or a suitable transmitter display. No path limitation,
dual rate, expotentional or other mixers must be programmed on the switching channel for "agility mode".
The taught-in channels can be monitored via serial status messages in the QuadroCopter configuration kit
or another serial terminal during the teaching stage.
If channel 5 is not taught in or a remote control with only 4 channels is used, the "agility mode" function is
permanently deactivated.
Also observe the following notes in chapters "Agility Mode Function" and "The First flight".
