9. Setting up the transmitter
Please observe the operating instructions provided with your remote control. Before the first flight, make
sure that you have sufficiently familiarised yourself with the remote control.
The remote control can be programmed for up to 10 flight models. This way, you do not have to re-program
the remote control when you want to fly a different model. When turning on the remote control, the name
and number of the currently set model appears.
Before you start flying, always make sure that the correct model is set on the remote control. If you use the
settings of a different model, your model might crash.
You should note down which flight model you have programmed with which name and number in the
remote control. Stick this note to the back of your remote control, for example.
Alarm message with activated mixers
When the transmitter is switched on, the display flashes and an audio signal is played, if one of the flight mode
switches (fig. 1, pos. 8 and 12) is activated and/or if the control stick for pitch/engine speed is not completely pulled to
the back (motor off). Both functions must first be corrected so that the transmitter is reset to normal operating mode.
