15. Care and maintenance
a) General information
Check the rudder linkages and the control functions of the servos on your model regularly. All moving parts have to be
easily movable but there should not be a clearance in the bearing.
Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use aggressive
cleansing agents or chemical solvents, since this might damage the surfaces.
b) Changing propellers
• If the model hits on a rock or similar upon landing, the
propeller may be damaged and has to be exchanged.
For this purpose, a matching spare propeller is enclosed
to the model.
• Unscrew the propeller nut with the enclosed fork wrench
(1).
• Turn the defect propeller (2) in the direction of the engine
and pull it off the propeller catch.
When attaching a new propeller, make sure that it is
mounted in line with the illustration.
• Twist the propeller nut back on and tighten it with the
fork wrench.
