9. Initial operation
a) Removing the car body
The car body is secured with four holding brackets which must be slid out from the retaining pins. The car body can
then be taken off.
b) Installing the receiver's antenna cable
The receiver's antenna cable is normally rolled up on
delivery.
Unwrap the antenna cable completely and smoothen it
carefully.
Now insert the antenna cable (1) from below through the
attachment (2).
Guide it through the antenna tube (3) and plug the antenna
tube into the attachment.
If a rubber cap is enclosed for the antenna tube, it prevents
the dislocation of the cable after attachment on the tip.
Make sure that the antenna cable does not protrude into the drive or touches the cardan shaft! It is
normally sufficient to slightly tighten the cable or fix it in place with a cable binder.
c) Inserting the accumulator pack in the vehicle
Pull off the two safety clips (1) and then lift the attachment
rod off by pulling it upwards (2).
Insert the accumulator pack into the chassis; the connection
cable should point towards the rear axis to not hinder the
steering mechanics.
Reinsert the attachment strut in the right orientation and
attach it with the previously removed safety clips.
Attention!
The accumulator pack must not yet be connected to the cruise control/receiver.
