4. Locate the guide pegs in the clutch side crankcase
half, grease and locate the gasket. See fi g. 12.
5. Use tool 502 50 30-14 and pull on the fl ywheel side
crankcase half. Pull until the gasket is clamped
between the two halves. See fi g. 13.
6. Inser t the six bolts and tighten them in rotation.
Tighten them fi nally to 8 Nm. See fi g 14.
NOTE!
Ensure that excess gasket material does not
fall into the crankcase.
9. Refi t the following components:
A.
Tank unit.
B.
Piston and cylinder.
C.
Silencer.
D.
Carburettor.
E.
Lubrication system.
F.
Centrifugal clutch.
G.
Electrical system.
H.
Recoil starter.
I.
Chain and guide bar.
10. If a new crankshaft has been fi tted the saw must be
run in for 3-4 hours at the carburettor base settings.
7. Cut off excess gasket at the level of the cylinder
seating
plane.
8. Refi t the carburettor space bottom plate with the four
bolts. Tighten to 5 Nm.
NOTE!
Continuing to pull with the assembly tool
after the gasket is clamped will damage the
crankshaft.
