C- GEARBOXES USED IN EXPLOSIVE AREA : DIRECTIVE 94/9/CE
C-1. INSTALLATION
The gearbox has to be mounted and installed in the position defined by our technical office. This
position cannot be changed without our authorization.
C-2. UTILIZATION
The gearbox has to be used in accordance with the catalog and the specifications given during the
selection of the product.
C-3. LUBRICATION / MAINTENANCE
Respect the instructions in the user manual.
C-4. MAINTENANCE
On site: a regular control of oil level and bearing temperatures has to be realised.
Repair: by REDEX (return of the gearboxes to our workshops) or by ATEX-certified services
« saqrAtex » or « reparAtex ».
C-5. ACCESSORIES
All the accessories installed on our gearboxes have to be ATEX-certified.
D- INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING SPARES
The serial number given on the label must
always be provided.
Since the pinions, in both bevel boxes and multi-speed units, are shrunk onto their respective
shafts (no keys) - replacement pinions and shafts are supplied, assembled together, as a complete
sub-assembly.
A certification plate is fixed on all of our ATEX-certified standard
gearboxes.
