WARNING STATUS (replace the batteries)

The warning status tells the user of the imminent need to replace the batteries.
When batteries power reaches 3V, RED signals to the MASTER Wi-Fi the low battery
status and it activates the BUZZER with a sound every 3 seconds for 1 minute.
The warning is renewed for 1 minute if a command is given to the door.
On the MASTER Wi-Fi, the EDGE PHOT LED corresponding to the RED with the low
batteries, turns on red.
The system is still operational during these signals, but it is advantageous to replace
the batteries as soon as possible in order to avoid a full stop of the door operation
which happens when the batteries reach 2,7V.

ALARM STATUS (batteries completely exhausted or RED not working)

The alarm status starts when the batteries are completely empty (2,7V) or when
the device stops working.
The LEDs DL2 and DL3 turn off and MASTER Wi-Fi blocks the automation.
The EDGE PHOT LED corresponding to the RED with the low or non-functioning
batteries, blinks red/green.
The BUZZER emits tones for 1 minute notifying the user that the batteries must be
replaced or RED needs to be repaired.

The alarm is renewed for 1 minute if a command is given to the door.

PROCEDURE TO DELETE ALL RECORDED SAFETY DEVICES

To delete all the safety devices recorded in the MASTER Wi-Fi memory, just push and
hold the PROG. RX button for 10 seconds.
After 10 seconds all of the EDGE PHOT LEDs will blink red/green 6 times, indicating
successful deletion.
Afterwards the EDGE PHOT LED and LEDs DL2 and DL3 will turn off.

ATTENTION: WITH LED DL2 AND DL3 OFF, AUTOMATION DOES NOT WORK.

PROCEDURE TO DELETE JUST ONE SAFETY DEVICE

In order to remove a single safety device recorded on the MASTER Wi-Fi, use the
following procedure:

Push the PROG. RX button one or more times to select the EDGE PHOT LED,
corresponding to the safety device to delete. EDGE PHOT LED begins flashing green

After selecting the RED, push and hold the PROG. RX button for 10 seconds.

After 10 seconds the EDGE PHOT LED blinks red/green 6 times, indicating
successful deletion.

ATTENTION:

Place the EDGE PHOT DIP corresponding to the deleted safety device

in OFF position, then scan the LEDs EDGE PHOT pushing the PROG. RX
button 6 times.

REPLACING THE BATTERIES

The lifespan of the 1,5 V AA batteries used in the safety devices is about 3 years.
In case it is required to replace the batteries, it will not be necessary to re-program
the safeties.

Identify the safety device with the exhausted batteries by checking the diagnostic
of the EDGE PHOT LED.

Use the number on the side of the EDGE PHOT LED which blinks red/green, or that
turns on red, to identify the number of the safety device with the exhausted
batteries.

Find the RED with the numbered sticker corresponding to the number of the EDGE
PHOT LED which is in alarm status.

Replace the batteries, checking that the polarity is correct.

Push PROG TX button on the RED to restart the MASTER Wi-Fi.

The buzzer of the MASTER Wi-Fi will turn off and the LEDs DL2-DL3 (if in alarm
status) will turn on. The EDGE PHOT LED corresponding to the safety device with
the replaced batteries will turn off.

The automation is now ready to restart in complete safety.

ATTENTION:

Please remember that batteries must be disposed properly according

to current Standards. In case of disposal of the safety devices, please
remember to remove the AA batteries and dispose them properly.

RECORD A RED AS PEDESTRIAN DOOR SECURITY ON MASTER NO TOUCH 868

It is possible to record a RED for the pedestrian door only if you have already
recorded the NO TOUCH 868 photocell.

RED transmitte

r monitors a NC contact (ex: a switch not supplied) installed on the

pedestrian door on the main door.
To run the recording, perform the following procedure:

- Set DIP 2 in ON position (COMPULSORY);

- supply the RED inserting its batteries;

press the S1 PROG. RX pushbutton which is found on the MASTER NO TOUCH 868: LED
DL1 will turn on green and flash for 1 minute (time used to run set up)

press the S2 PROG. TX pushbutton on RED: on the MASTER NO TOUCH 868 LED DL1
will stop flashing green and turn off . The buzzer will emit a tone signalling while
the red led of RED flashes 3 times to confirm the correct set up.

VERIFY THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE PEDESTRIAN DOOR SECURITY

Open the pedestrian door to open the NC contact connected to the RED.
Verify that on the MASTER NO TOUCH 868 the LEDs DL3 and DL4 turn off and that any
door opening command is not performed.
