This Guide has been put together to aid trained personnel in Retro-fitting a Besam SL500
Automatic sliding door operator.
The kit has been designed to replace the Motor and Control mechanism whilst
re-using all the mechanical components such as wheels and track. However some minor
adjustments / adaptions may be required on site.
Please check your sensors etc for compatibility. All safety sensors must be cat C or above
Please refer to the enclosed quick start guide for basic wiring and set up of the STA20
retrofit kit.

Approx Fixing Time : 2-3 hrs
The SL500 series of operators are one of the later generation of sliding door operators.
The original Motor, idler pulley, belt, belt brackets and processor are all replaced.
Before commencing with the installation, please ensure you have the correct kit for the operator make / model
required.
Isolate main voltage and unwire connections to operator.
