With the needle nose pliers that came in your
ReChargX™ tool kit pull the reset chip out of the
slot (figure 23-2).
Step 24: Install the cartridge reset chip
Remove the reset chip from the small, pink bag that
is included in the ReChargX
TM
RX292 premium print
toner refill kit (figure 24-1). Avoid touching the brass
contacts, as static electricity may disrupt the ability of
the printer to recognize the chip.
Note
: The cartridge reset chip in the refill kit may
not have the same design or color as the original
cartridge chip but will provide full functionality to
your machine.
Insert the RX292-RC cartridge reset chip into the
toner cartridge making sure the brass contacts are
facing up with the largest of the four contacts (A) on
the left side (figure 24-2).
