In the following steps, we will show you how to make
the toner hopper hole, refill the cartridge, clean the
area and apply a seal.
Step 4: Position the toner cartridge for creating
the toner hopper hole
Position the cartridge on your work surface with the
handle (A) facing toward you (figure 4-1).
Step 5: Identify the toner hopper hole location
With the cartridge in position, the toner hopper hole
will be located between the left edge of the cartridge
and the cartridge handle, as indicated by the white
circle (figure 5-1).
Step 6: Prepare the hole-making tool
Before plugging in the ReChargX™ hole-making tool,
bend up the center “Y”-shaped section of the small
black stand (A) (figure 6-1). This is what the tool will
rest on while heating up.
Plug in the hole-making tool, rest it on the stand, turn
the sand timer (B) (figure 6-1) over and wait until all
the sand has moved from the top of the sand timer to
the bottom (3 minutes) before using the tool. This will
ensure easy penetration of the cartridge housing.
