Troubleshooting
After you install and activate the AED Sentinel monitoring unit, you may receive a
blinking red error light. This means AED Sentinel had a problem with either capturing an
image of your status indicator, or with sending it to AED Sentinel Manager.
If you see the blinking red light during your installation process, try these steps to solve
the problem.
1. Turn off the AED Sentinel monitoring unit using the power switch on the battery pack.
2. Wait a few seconds, then turn it on.
3. Try the installation process again using the steps in Activate the AED Sentinel
Monitoring Unit, above.
If you still see a blinking red light after your second installation process, contact support

You have successfully installed your AED Sentinel monitoring unit. It will monitor your
AED and send you alerts and messages if the AED cabinet door is opened, the AED
status indicator changes from Ready to Not Ready, or if you need to replace your AED
batteries or pads.
