MAIN BRUSH “1/2” (FIG.10)
The main brush sweeps dust and refuse into the refuse container at the rear of the motor sweeper.
!
Caution!
Never sweep up strings, wire, etc., which can become entangled in the brush and damage the bristles.
Raising and lowering the main brush
The main brush is raised and lowered by lever 1. The main brush “fl oats”.
Adjusting the main brush
The main brush should just touch the fl oor, leaving an even trace 4-5 cm wide when it rotates.
Procede as follows to adjust the main bush:
•
Lower the brush using the lever 1.
•
Undo screw 2 on lock 3.
•
Move the lock one position forward on the toothed sector to obtain the correct brush trace setting (as shown
in fi gure).
•
Tighten the nut 2.
When adjusting the main brush, the mobile barrier 6 on the Refuse container inlet must also be adjusted. Proceed as
follows:
•
Lift the Refuse container.
• Back
off the nuts 5 on the sides of the mobile barrier.
•
Turn the mobile barrier down by about half a slot.
