the

(XPR)

program for a designated period of time.
•

One-Button Recording
You record any broadcast TV show with the touch of one
button.
1. Insert a blank videotape with its safety tab in place into
either deck (make sure to make this the active deck
using the VCR’s remote control or front panel).
2. Select the channel to be recorded on the VCR using the
remote’s number or CH+/CH– buttons (cable box users
should tune the VCR to channel 2, 3, or 4– whichever is
used by the cable box to display its signal. The cable
box should be tuned to the channel to be recorded).
3. Press the RECORD button on the remote.
Express Recording
Use Express Recording (XPR) to quickly record the
remaining portion of a program being watched.
1. Press the SPEED button on the remote to set the tape
speed (SP= Standard Play, SLP= Super Long Play).
2. Press the RECORD button on the VCR front panel or
remote control to begin recording the current channel.

Express Recording
Express Recording (XPR) is a great
way to tape the last quarter of the
game, or the last part of a movie
when you have to leave.
Recording Note
In order for XPR to work, the deck
with the recordable tape must be
selected using button on the front
panel or remote control.
