Global Recording Settings
Use the
Global Recording Settings
tab to customize the
Event Pre Buffer Time
and
Event Record Duration
for
recording modules.
To access the tab, open the
Administration
window, select the
System Preferences
tab, and view the
Global Recording
Settings
tab.
1.
The
Event Pre Buffer Time
field provides the ability to customize the pre buffer time. When the application
detects an event in a specified area of a viewed image, it begins archiving the video from a designated time
prior to the event. Recording imagery based on movement has advantages of conserving hard drive space and
spending unnecessary amounts of time reviewing hours of video searching for the event.
2.
The
Event Record Duration
field provides the ability to customize the amount of time the application records
an event.
Use the available fields to adjust the times in seconds. Use the field descriptions on the left of each field as guides for the
available ranges. Click
Save Changes to NVR
to save the updated recording times.
