The power supply should be connected as shown below:

Radio’s fitted power cable.

12 V dc power source (i.e.: Distribution panel).
5. Power supply negative (-) Black wire.
6. Suitable waterproof connection (Radio is supplied with bullet crimps on power supply wires.)

If, required you can extend the power cable supplied with your radio, using suitably rated cabling.
